The idea is to post pictures of
your coins starting with 2013, then 2012, then 2011, and so on.
Rules:
No skipping dates
You must own this coin (exception for 2014)
It must be dated.
Both CCF and CoinPeople have threads like this one, let's see your coins!

There is absolutely no way I am going to picture every penny I have, which runs from 2013 back to 1971 for decimal, and all the way back to George III

Hello,
this is a very nice topic! It needs a little effort to search for the coin in folders and pick up the camera, but I like it! Here is my 2012 year coin!

Thanks - I bought it direct from the mint (will add details shortly). I only found it as a member on here wanted me to buy some coins for him, and while looking on their site for his coins I saw this beauty. I just HAD to order it; I think it was last year I bought it and so was lucky they had some left as it is a 2008 coin (and limited mintage of only 3,000).
EDIT: I am still looking, but I know it was not from the Royal Mint, so may have been Pobjoy Mint. Yes - I now found it is Pobjoy Mint, and now looking for a link and price ...

Hey, it's no good for one person to post many coins in a row. Otherwise I could cover 20 years at a time which would be no fun

With fewer coins per day all the collectors have more time to enjoy looking at the coins!

What we are doing at CCF is setting One Year Per Day: many members all post coins of Year X, and the next day, they all post coins of Year X-1, and so on. This means more coins to look at... and easier participation.

Hmm... I'd do it like "you can post a coin IF the three posts before you are not your own posts, or it has been one day by Forum Time". This should be nicely adaptable when combined with the only one year per day rule.

Pobjoy cost about 100 pound.
I found it for less on ebay sold by a pro, with few thousand positive eval, but it's still 80pound (100 euro).
Do you know if, by any chance, this coin could cost less in the future?

Canada, $1, 1966
The last silver dollar to carry the voyageur design.
These coins are very impressive.

Quote: xmtx I'm also interested in this coin. I find it very beautiful.
Pobjoy cost about 100 pound.
I found it for less on ebay sold by a pro, with few thousand positive eval, but it's still 80pound (100 euro).
Do you know if, by any chance, this coin could cost less in the future? It is currently the same price that I paid in April last year. It does not say on their site how many are left; but they may reduce the price in future, perhaps. Maybe write to them?
This link (Isle of Man) is in date order (so starts with 2014) so 2008 is 3/4 down the page ...

Ireland Half Crown (2 Shillings 6 Pence) KM# 16a
In Gaelic known as 1/2 Coróin (2 Scilling 6 Pingin)
Though I show my 'mule' coin which is KM# 17 as it has the wrong reverse. Only in 1961 (on a few of the mintage) was the correct harp obverse matched with the old horse reverse dies from the 1920's. Easiest way to tell is the C letter is further to the right from an imaginary vertical line drawn above the shoulders.

Argentina, 1 peso, 1960. Commemorative type. I like the design! However the coin itself is made out of cheap copper-nickel-clad iron and the edge is turning black.
