I am 14...
When everyone has submitted their age I will announce the youngest member of this forum and the oldest, which should reflect the age of the average collector.

There are more members here that are younger than me than I thought. I am 19 but will be 20 by the end of the year.
EDIT: Some of you guys for being so young have an amazing collection.

Quote: bam777 I am 10,553 days old. That could be the next competition - guessing your exact birthday.
I start by saying May 1984 (10553/365 = 28.91) and will work out the day soon.
(1984) Jun-Dec = 30x3 + 31x4 = 214 days
1985-1999 = 12x365 + 3x366 = 4380+1098= 5478 days
2000 = 365 days (not a leap year, as every 100 years one day is not added)
2001-2012 = 9x365 + 3x366 = 3285+1098 = 4383 days
2013 to April 24th = 31+28+31+24 = 114 days
Total so far = 214+5478+365+4383+114 = 10441 days
Which oh dear 10553-10441 = 112 days so it goes wrong somewhere
Should be a number less than 31 remaining ideally.
Even so: March-May = 31+30+31 = 92 days
Then 112-92 = 20 days
As 1984 was a leap year then 29-20 = 9
So your birthday was 9th February 1984

No...I used a special program that made it two days shorter than my birthday...I'm not sure why...they calculated it like that. You were closer with May!

I thought I was going to be the oldest until two very awesomely lively 73 year olds turned up.
I can however pass for a bloke in his 30's. Prior to my first heart attack I could pass for mid 20's. Good genes, didn't start shaving until my 30's.

Don't worry, I'm thick-skinned - you wont be able to offend me if you're too far out. The beard and glasses make it hard to tell. Could be anything from mid 20s to 40s I'm going to go 33?

Like I said it is hard to tell, I have seen people that look just like him in my college classes that are only 20. May the best guess win.

Beard and glasses seems to make younger people look older and older people look younger (providing you keep that nasty grey out of it)

I think I have aged well or not at all over the last 10 years. Im 27 but when I was a college student in my teens people would think I was an instructor rather than student.

I'm 44. Lots of very young collectors on the forum, nice to see it is not only a hobby for Oldies.
By the way, the beard make you look quite a bit older than 27, more like turning the 2 around.

I'm rocking the goatee look at the moment. Went 4-5 years with a full beard followed by a couple of years clean shaven before growing my goatee for the last year. It's good to be a guy. We don't need plastic surgery to alter our appearance.
