58 is the exact age at which all the lines on the graph combine to make you irresistible to women and feared by lesser men. Everything still works just fine, you have acquired decades worth of wisdom, can hold a conversation beyond Beyonce's new shoes and can work all day and drink all night without a trace of a hangover.
58 is the new 25 without the bad haircuts, pants round your knees and acne.
Congratulations, enjoy.

I am 38 but I feel like 16.
Also I'm from Brazil and my english suck, I like to play guitar, read, play games and go to metal concerts. I work on a bank institution.
I started collecting coins a long time ago but only in the few late months I started to get more dedicated to my collection, thanks to this site.

CreepingJeebus! I'll be 60 years old on March 11th. That's an awfully big number.
Where did it all go? It seems like just last week I was learning to ride a bike and unhook a bra. Not at the same time of course. I have to say though it was all a whole lot of fun and I'd like to do it all over again. I hope this reincarnation thing works as I'm expecting. I don't want to come back as a tapeworm. I wonder if these Buddhist fellers have considered that angle? Actually there's a whole lot of humans I don't want to come back as, so I'm checking the "English" and "Male" boxes again.
Oh well, look on the bright side. I still look much younger, feel just fine, and don't have a single grey hair or wrinkle and my hairline is just where it always was. I reckon I'm safe as long as Keith Richards is still around.

This is what it looks like when I'm at the meetings of my local coin club. There are probably 2 or 3 that are only ~10 years older than me, the rest must be well into their 60s and older :-)

I too agree and I am only 53. My home forum coin community has mainly older collectors, with a hint of the youngsters. This is so good to see! I wonder why this forum is full of the under 35 crowd.

Quote: "Fluke" Turned 39 on 3rd May :snif:Hey Fluke,
Your 40th just round the corner then? The day after my daughters 12th Birthday to be exact
My folks said they'd spent around £100 on my sisters 40th so would spend the same on me, so I've chosen
this - nice keepsake for my 40th (in September this year).

p.s. If I think on I will PM you later, got a coin in a bulk buy I was going to bin as it looks beyond help to me, but I will send you pics if that's ok, see what you think? Thanks.

I have added up the data from 215 users who have reported in this thread (and the other one linked near the top).
The median birth year is 1982. Half were born before it, and half were born after it. (The mean is 1980.)
The oldest 10% were born before 1957. The oldest seems to be Rasa (born circa 1933).
The youngest 10% were born after the summer of 1998. The youngest seems to be Irishka (born circa Dec. 2003).

Some of the ages surprise me! I thought Neilithic was retired/close to retirement. (Perhaps the name did it.)
I'm not as old as Neilithic or Fluke
But still the wrong side of 30! Mental age 12.

24, will be turning 25 in early January. Born in 1992 - just a few days after we changed the name of the country.
EDIT: not that I feel anywhere near that old, unfortunately.

51......Father Time is a heartless hunter, creeps up from behind...steals away your youth and ages your mind.
