Sorry to bring this to everyone's attention again, but I received two 2019 series alphabet coins as part of an exchange this morning.
6 more needed. A, B, T, W, Y & Z

Any help in finishing this series would be gratefully received

Cool.
Hope you complete it soon.
Contacted two UK collectors last weekend, as they both had one I need, but got no reply

Well it has been announced that the Great Australian Coin Hunt is back on again for 2021. But just a little bit differently than the UK series which replicated the themes over both years, the Aussie set will have different themes to the first set.

Australia Post will again issue the $1 coins in change if you buy something using cash, or you can buy the coins in a card for $3 each or the full set in a tube with a press in album for (I think) $49.

These will be the themes for 2021

A - Akubra
B - BBQ
C - Cherry Ripe
D - Dingo
E - Emu
F - Flies
G - Great Barrier Reef
H - Home and Away
I - Ironbark
J - Jolly Swagman
K - Koala
L - Lyrebird
M - Milo
N - Nobbys Nuts
O - opera House
P - Pavlova
Q - Queen Victoria Market
R - Redback Spider
S - Sydney Harbour Bridge
T - Tim Tam
U - Ulysses Butterfly
V - Victa Lawnmower
W - Witchety Grub
X - Xanthorrhoea
Y - Yabby
Z - Zinc Sunscreen

If you are an Aussie you will know what all of those things are .. if you are not you might struggle with some of them haha

Cheers Mike

Mike,
That series looks very interesting. How can I see the reverse of the coins to understand what they are, as you know, I am not an Aussie

Mike,
Very informative as always. Looks like another great alphabet series.

Photos are also great. We get nothing like that in England, as you already know.

New update.
Due to some very recent exchanges, I now need only 4 Alphabet coins of the 2019 series. A, B, Y & Z.

I still have some 2018 & 2019 series Alphabet coins to exchange or I am open to negotiate any sensible swap, with coins on my swap list.

Just swapped 'W' for some Switzerland coins, and the 'T' came from the USA.

Merry Christmas to all

Due to holidays and sickness, I received my belated Fathers Day gift from my daughter.
It was the B for James Bond 2019
3 to go. A, Y & Z all from 2019
Its deal time. I will swap one alphabet coin from 2018 and one coin from 2019 for one of the coins I need.
Coins will obviously be of your choices from those I have

Sorry to keep boring you all
Geoff

Sorry to keep boring you all - but this topic was started just over two years ago,
and guess how many I have found in change, of any date ... none. :(

Same here 1 year and nearly 8 months later of me hunting 10ps and apart from the better condition pre 2011s I’m keeping Ive found none.
Hi to whoever is reading this. Did you know that TYPEWRITER (on a QWERTY keyboard) is the longest word you can type using only the letters on one row of the keyboard.
ZacUK,
I think you need to get out more?
In all honesty, I very much doubt if there are any Alphabet coins in circulation, whether it be 2018 or 2019.
Just trying very hard to complete my 2019 series, so it sits very nicely next to my 2018 series.

As there are gaps, it looks like there is a huge cavern that needs filling, although, in reality, it's just a very small coin pocket.

You collectors out there know the pain of a gap in a series.

With only three required, and the likelihood of any more becoming available from circulation, or indeed swaps, I had to make a decision as to how I was going to finish this series. Reluctantly, my only option is to buy them. I did a great deal with a seller on eBay for Y and Z, so now that they have cost actual money, I have also decided to sell some of those I have, and hopefully will recover all of my outlay, thus getting coins for nothing or very little.
Five coins listed on Sunday, with others to follow, if they sell.

Can't remember what years they are, but I have found a C and a F in my change.
