I just thinking if it becomes mandatory for every member to show their own picture on Numista ? We know each other with their usernames or some real names. But, how it would be to know how he look?
I think there's a similar picture of me with my two when they were that age. Passed out fast asleep on the couch with the little one fast asleep on my chest. Babies are such hard work...waking up every couple of hours to nudge the wife and say "the baby needs you"
My photo is 3 years old, mine are 7 and 5 now and I'm currently discovering the truth behind the quote "We spend the first year of a child's life teaching it to walk and talk and the rest of its life to shut up and sit down" - Neil deGrasse Tyson
Jokes apart, when I creating this I think definitely someone asked for my look.
Frankly speaking, yet I do not know I am doing (coins sending abroad) legal or illegal thing. Even to send coins I use a fake address on sending time. So, I do not want to show my face at this moment.
Its me on the right and my friend that I hike with on the left, this is on the Appalachian trail, in the Appalachian mountains of North Carolina. Its a beautiful place. My Ancestry is Scottish and I carry the flag for fun, I have carried it hundreds of hiking miles.
Taking a break from swapping for a while, but still interested in pre 1799 Spanish coins, I will make time for that!

To be quite frank, I think that's the rudest thing I've heard of. You start a thread asking to see what everyone looks like and then refuse to send your own picture. What's next? Are you going to start a swap with someone, and after they send their coins decide you don't want to send any?
I have no problems with posting my own picture, but if you start a thread asking people to post their pictures you should be man enough to post your own.

If any day I refuse to send any one's coins after receiving it or cheat someone on that moment I will post my pic here. I am promising you.
You can know someone even with his address, pic, fb id everything but there is nothing we can do if he cheat someone.
It's not about cheating it about something else.

Well, I have no idea what you're personally hoping to get out of this, but I'm just interested to see what everyone looks like. I also knew I didn't have to post in this thread if I didn't want to. So I don't think the request, in and of itself, was rude, although I do think it's strange for someone to start a picture thread who doesn't want to post a picture.

I don't know in how many countries to send currency over the border it's legal (for example in Romania the law say that you can send numismatic items just if you have documents to prove that items aren't in national patrimony) but this wasn't for us a reason not to post our photos. Of course, we were not forced to do it but we did it. So I have to be agree with Neil, this is kinda rude to initiate something and then to run away. Just my humble opinion.
Okay, here is Voldemort with the 3 children in Palestine, December 2013
I am the oldest, shortest male (184 cm) with the least hair. The reason I am hiding in the back, is because I am totally naked!
Your kids must be pretty tall if you're 184cm and they're towering over you. I'm 180cm and my wife is 154cm, our oldest looks like he's going to get my height, the youngest looks like he's going to get my wife's, poor boy.
Actually, you can see my wife on the picture, as well, her shadow is on my son's belly, as she takes the picture She is taller than that in real life, though

You are not Voldemort! Also, you have a beautiful family.

My wife and I have raised six fine strong sons between us plus my one beautiful daughter. All grown up now and making their own way in the world. Just when you think it's safe to relax.... boom, we took on guardianship of this little beauty at 3 months old. She is now two and a half and has changed from a withdrawn, malnourished and neglected baby into a well fed, content and very happy little girl. We will be formally adopting her as soon as is practical.
Her name is Abigail (Abby) and everybody knows her due to her extrovert nature. She is loved by everyone who meets her and appropriately spoiled.
Non illegitimis carborundum est. Excellent advice for all coins.

I'm not an expert in any kind of coins, but I reckon I'm good at research and will do my best to help. Feel free to tell me my identifications/valuations/gradings are wrong. It's the only way I'll learn.
Quote: radrick007You can see my picture on my profile but that was a couple of years ago so here is a more recent one of me throwing myself off a bridge!
Well, aren't you a daring one!! I'm terribly afraid of heights (to the point of phobia), so I don't think I could ever, ever do this. You've got my utter respect for doing that, for sure.

So actually we proved that Brittania was a cheater. Right?

A cheater, or a liar? I would consider putting a celebrity face to your name, and acting like it's your real picture, lying.
Ok, maybe a liar. But that means You can't trust this person. And also this could mean she is a cheater. I mean why did she unsubscribe then? Maybe because he/she knows that nobody will trust him/her?
