Macedonian coin For Identification

3 posts • viewed 60 times

Thanks to the school of Numista

I have the following

Macedionian

Low grade

Weight 7.13g

Diameter 18-20

Bronze.

I did find a referral coin, BUT it is just my reference and guide, not a fact.

I need help in identifying this.

The coins on the right is JUST a similarity and not actual confirmation

N#225127

Update: I also found this, which explains indentation inthe  centre

 https://en.numista.com/catalogue/ptolemaic_kingdom-2.html#c_ptolemaic_kingdom10418

How would I describe it? Roman Macedonian? etc

Best regards Herman

Herman VAN NOORDWYK

The obverse is hard to tell but I can kind of see the eagle on the reverse

Yes

I should add, it resembles this coin more:

N#452706

It includes the lettering at the top left, position

Herman VAN NOORDWYK
