Hi,
I have a Qing Copper Cash coin and I am trying to make sure I know which variant I have, but I lack the confidence to say for sure that I have properly identified it and, particularly, its specific variant, and so I was hoping someone with more experience with this type of coinage/with a better-trained eye could help me by confirming whether my identification is correct or not.
It was sold to me as a 10 Cash from 1906 from Hunan, and I believe that identification is correct - but do correct me if I am wrong.
That leaves a few variants listed on its catalogue page (N#242550). Of these, I believe I have ‘午丙: Y#10h.2: Hunan Mint (top of Hu disconnected; pearl with seven flames; smooth pearl)’ - but, again, I am unsure as I don't know what to look for for whether or not ‘Hu’ is disconnected (I assume the first character of the mintmark?), and while the pearl looks smooth to me, I don't actually have a frame of reference for what a smooth vs spiky pearl would look like.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated, and I thank you very much in advance :)
