Woolworths Supermarkets in Australia in partnership with the Royal Australian Mint have just issued some new coins to commemorate the XXII Commonwealth games to be held in Birmingham from 28th July until 8th August 2022.
They have released three coloured $2 coins and four NCLT $1 coins in a seven coin folder set (Face value $10) for a price of $15.
Woolworths will also be issuing the coloured $2 coins in change from the tills over the next few weeks.
So the $2 coins will be found in circulation, but the $1 coins will not as they can only be obtained in the seven coin set.
