Projekt wewnętrznej części monety składa się z konturów czterech państw Europy Środkowej - Czech, Węgier, Polski i Słowacji - z nałożonym kompozytowym "V" oznaczającym Grupę Wyszehradzką, sojusz regionalny znany również jako "Czwórka Wyszehradzka" lub "V4", który został utworzony po spotkaniu na szczycie szefów państw lub rządów Czechosłowacji, Węgier i Polski w mieście zamkowym Wyszehrad na Węgrzech w dniu 15 lutego 1991 r., głównie w celu współpracy w obszarach wspólnego zainteresowania w ramach procesu integracji europejskiej. Na zewnętrznym otoku monety znajduje się 12 gwiazd Unii Europejskiej.
