Can you explain the differences between "Early modern period" and "Modern period"? For "Early modern period" I even get the euro coinage!
And are combinations possible? I don't collect ancient or mediaeval coins so it would be wonderful to combine "Early modern period" and "Modern period" but when I do that it looks as if I only get a list of issuers who are in both categories, not a list of issuers who are in one of the two categories:
Perhaps I just don't understand, but it seems like a lot of countries are missing from this. For example, where is England/United Kingdom? I couldn't find it when any of the "period" filters were applied.
Database shows that all issuers have periods assigned, so I guess this is some implementation problem. I asked Xavier about that.
Early modern period ends in 1800 approximately. Reason why you get euro coinage there is because some countries encompass both or even more categories.
For country collectors it would be very useful to have the same filters on the list which is displayed on "My coins >> View the country list with my collection quantities."

I just thought about this feature this Monday, way before this new improvement on the site was anounced.
Totally thumbs up, should we make a proper thread-suggestion to ask for this?

Yes, you totally should! This is something only Xavier can make.
