tl;dr: I think the guidelines for face value in word form should specify 1) using a hyphen for mixed fractions, and 2) use the fraction from the coin, not "3/2" when the coin says "1 1/2".
I think there should be explicit guidelines for entering mixed fractions (items like "one and a half") into the "Face value in word form" field.
Looking at 1 1/2 Pfennig in particular, I find ten when I search for a "Face Value" of "1-1/2 Pfennig". one when I search for "3/2 Pfennig".
Searching for a face value of "1 1/2 Pfennig" has 56 results. Most don't have a face value of "1 1/2 Pfennig", but the results do include coins with that denomination not found when I search for "1-1/2 Pfennig".
I think the guidelines for face value in word form should specify 1) using a hyphen for mixed fractions, and 2) use the fraction from the coin, not "3/2" when the coin says "1 1/2".
Is there a better place to discuss guidelines? The "Numista coin catalog" forum seems like the right place, but guidelines aren't one of the listed aims for new topics.
