I just got 2 banknotes from Venezuela, and when trying to catalog them, I found a discrepancy on the description:
Well, as shows on Numista catalog, variants are 7 and 8 digits on serial #, and is detailed which series are 7 and 8 digits long. First shown is series G and 8 digits long, but as description should be 7, so I checked on Krause, and found description given is the same.
Then I checked Banknote Museum site, and they show no detail about series letters. Maybe they noticed the discrepancy too.
I guess we should note it on our catalog, so I'm sending a request now.
Just 10 options: you understand binary, or you don't.
Catalog Referee Coins, Banknotes & Exonumia: Uruguay, Cuba, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Paraguay, Costa Rica, Venezuela, Panama, Ecuador, Zamunda, Parva Domus and more.
Remember that there are dozens of varieties of South American banknotes that are not yet reported. Even I have some that you can't find listed anywhere. One day they will appear on Numista.
