Also every Friday night for 2 hours (UK time 8 to 10) I listen to
a live streaming from Shaun of LeBrock and it is called SynthRave.
It started during the lockdown and here is (number 11) last week's ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bbg34oLrVFc
and this will be number 12 streamed live in two day's time ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2XCVtUonyD4
Georg Philipp Telemann. Tafelmusik. XIV. Quatuor in E Minor for Flute. TWV 43:e2 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A1edGAufeRA
It is not enough to say that I like it. This piece of music conveys perfectly what kind of person I want to be.
so sad that they broke up but there so good I don't know why I never bothered to listen t them before. when listing to Beatle albums never just find the most popular song or the title track. always listen to the songs from number 1 to the last song with no interruptions because all of the song and work can be felt. plus in albums like sargent pepers the songs and made to sound like there played one after another.
Before you even start listing to them forget about any stigmas of the 60's and past. don't even remember how life was back then or how media portrays the era in this black and white grandpa fashion. every era is special and it was one of the biggest and influential in music. remember John, Paul, George and ringgo. there songs are decade less and they can fit any era and are from family friendly singalongs to songs that will make to cry and reflect on life as you know it. you will be changed by there music and they span so many genres. there music videos are so funny and awesome to watch and are in colour... yes the sixties had colour and good quality with restoration versions.
for any germans they even have German versions of there songs
Classical music: Johann Sebastian Bach (I recommend BWV540 ) and Pëtr Il'ič Čajkovskij
Celtic: Enya (The memory of trees is the top!)
Progressive rock: Mike Oldfield (I recommend The songs of distant Earth or QE2)
And then gregorian, rock, electronic, pop and so on... Maybe it's simpler to ask me which genres I don't like
I enjoy(ed) way too many myself,starting from pop,to rock,until even trance...way too wide variety.
Anyway, due to circumstances, last 3 years I mostly enjoy baby music as it's the most played one at home:)))
Iam listening mainly to a wide variety of metal and hard rock. Also some classic music, some movie and series Soundtrack and a little bit of techno and hip-hop .
A lot of music made in the 70s and 80s excites me, dance, disco, synth pop, soft rock, early hip hop and especially funk music.
By far and away my favourite artist is Prince (1958 - 2016). I have every single album and nearly every song he made and have a collection of Prince memorabilia that rivals my coins.
Right up there too is Michael Jackson (1958 - 2009) and Madonna. Other artists include Madonna, George Michael, Elton John, most 80s synthpop, most disco and funk (But NOT rap or hip hop after 1996).
Also not impartial to some 50s and 60s along with the divas like Mariah Carey (1990s only not her video ho period), Whitney Houston, Celine Dion and Barbra Streisand.
I love coins. Especially silver, gold and anything really old.

Quote: "Ollisaarinen"Am I the only who likes to listen heavy rock? Ozzy is my favourite, but Scorpions and ACDC are close to that.
I like AC/DC and in February went to see a local (Hertfordshire) tribute act ...
called Mean Streak after one of their hits. I knew of the tribute group as in a previous
job I used to work in the same office as Colin the bass player. They also gave away fake
money with their names on - which I have but cannot currently find.
I also like funky music - here is legendary musician Rick James with
the actor Eddie Murphy in 1985 with a great collaboration ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iWa-6g-TbgI [Party all the time]

Love me some Rick James, Bustin out on the Funk, Mary Jane, Cold Blooded, You and I. Give it to me baby, Superfreak.
He toured in 1980 and had Prince as support, it did not go well and Prince and him had a bit of rivalry going afterwards. The Mary Jane girls were stolen off Vanity 6, he even answered Prince's funk offshoot the Time, with a group called Process and the Doo Rags, I kid you not. They could sing too!

When I do my coins, I quite often listen to this to keep up my language of 9 years in Mexico. These “ranchera” girls sing and pronounce extremely well:
Love the “dark” sound. Especially appropriate for the night time, IMHO. She is from Toronto and he is from London (I think). At any rate the sound is very English, very “London”. And the drum is not too loud for once.
