Well my little city even surpassed my dreams. First Friday a guy at work gave me a bag of Canadian coins. They all know I gave them face value for them. 34 more Canada 1 cent coins, with 2 King George. Some very nice Canadian coins from the late 60's early 70's in unc . At great 1968 10 cent coin that looks mint. Then Friday night went to get gas and smokes. And talk to my friend who run it. He save anything odd for me. Out comes a 1928 series D 2 dollar bill, he let me have for 2 dollars. I will have to get him a gift card. So this morning get a cup of coffee and newspaper And in change got a2020 D 1 cent I need. And a 2013 dollar star note. So off to do my work cloths . At the launder mat I go. Put a10 dollar bill in to get quarters. And got my first W quarter. Northern Marian Island. And with it 2 Northern Marian Island territory 2009 quarters ,both P and D. So I would have to say .The coin life here in Oshkosh is good.
Thank you ZacUK. With all that is going on I been getting a lot of territory quarters. I have been getting a lot of odd things lately. A guy at work just gave me 8 bank notes from Guyana and 6 coins. And a friend gave me a lot of bank notes and coins from the Philippines. I even got about a month ago a 1936 US quarter, but worn down a lot. I thought this year would be light for out of country coins with EAA not happening this year. With EAA there can be as much as 80 different countries were people come from hear. Every year I get a handful of new out of country coins, A lot from Germany and France.
yes John it pays to keep your eyes open. I also got to know a lot of the stores and gas station people. Who all look for odd things for me. German 1cent euro coin I have now about 70 different ones. not bad for some one who does not use E-bay.
