Hi guys. I'm new on this site and I want to know more about my coin; I found it about 12 years ago maybe more. And I want to know the value of it. I search for it on this site but couldn't find it, so I have to ask.

Thanks
hello,
To get the right information, you should put pictures of your coin and specify the weight, diameter and metal.

   Welcome to the site.  :)
I went to Vatican City in the Country List then entered 1997 and 1000 and the above coin came up.

  Took me a while to learn Roman Numerals, and I think I've got them right: M=1000 C=100 X=10 V=5 I=1
then  CM=900 as in 100 less than 1000  and  XC=90 as in 10 less than 100  so adding them is >
MCMXCVII = 1000 + 900 + 90 + 5 + 1 + 1 = 1997 hopefully. There is also D=500 and L=50

  I see some of the Vatican coins have pictures only and no lettering entered, so I will add some shortly; which would help future Searches, such as IOANNES and others.
  I guess your coin is bi-metal and 26.9mm diameter. Here is the valuation for KM# 286 ...

   Finally, writing all that, I hope it is your coin, as in the Title of this Topic I see that P.M. AN. XIX is not written, though maybe you shortened it! Also from the above image I see on the reverse is the Western 1997 date just above L.1000 - does yours have 1997 on it?
  Perhaps you have the silver coin instead (KM# 287) as that does not have 1997 on it - and is a completely different design, but does have the same lettering ...
