Barbados is NOT a republic.

It has Queen Elizabeth II as head of state - so, therefore, it is an independent Dominion in the Commonwealth.

I think if they add it like this

Independent Barbados (or) Commonwealth of Barbados
Elizabeth II (1966-date)

But anyone who knows what/who went before the independents? There is no kings listed. Is it just eg.
Colony of Barbados
Spain
Philip V(1700-1724) ?
British
1788(?)-1792(?)

Thaat's what I can figure out by the oldest coins in the catalough.

Barbados was a British colony until from 1625 to 1966.

Since then, Barbados has been an independent state, albeit, with Queen Elizabeth II as head of state.

Barbados's first coins were struck during the reign of King George III.

Barbados is soon to become a republic.

Barbados will still be a British Commonwealth country even as a republic, but having a ceremonial president instead of the monarch as head of state - like in Trinidad & Tobago.
