Just a point which I would be interested in and maybe also others here on Numista.
Could we have additional statistics such as.
Which picture sources are used the most on numista and how many times are they in the database.
Which reference numbers are used the most on numista and how many times are they in the database.
Which mint is used the most on numista and how many times are they in the database.
Which tags are used the most on numista and how many times are they in the database.
Which coin materials are present the most on numista and how many times are they in the database.
Thanks,
Paul

The format for reference catalogues is not adapted for websites, I tried to make it looks slightly better: TokenCatalog.com by Richard Greever (http://tokencatalog.com)
United States Mint, Philadelphia, United States: 236 coins
Baia Mare / Frauenbach or Groß-Neustadt / Nagybánya, in modern-day Rnia: 226 coins
And since it has been a long time I didn't share statistics, here is a bonus, not in the original requests by apuking: the top 10 ruling authorities on Numista.
Mints and rulers are a quite new additions to Numista. The lists seem more representative of where most effort has been put into adding the mints or the rulers so far than the overall coin production of each mint or ruler.
Will it be an idea to put at the bottom of the page beside Numista Team and the others, a “Statistics” page with automatic generated graphs with the most interesting facts. If you refresh it once a month will be enough I think.
Quote: "ZacUK" Thanks - as Elizabeth II is at the top of the second list,
it is surprising that the Royal Mint, United Kingdom is not on the first list?!
Mostly because all UK coins are Royal Mint and its just a known fact. I will start the conversation with the UK referee to begin updating all UK coins to include the correct mint. Although if there is a robot that could save a lot of time....

We have got 2 Mints churning out NCLT like there is no tommorow.
Although I agree that the Royal Mint is starting to do the same thing.
Would be a good exercise to add the mint to the UK coins though. Are some of the UK coins done by Pobjoy and others or is that just the Territories and dependancies?

Thanks for getting started added mints to British coins. One of the things I love most is knowing where coins were minted.
Back in the day, the Soho mint and Heaton's mint made non precious metal coins. I can't remember if Kings Norton ever minted coins domestically, but I think they did.
There was also a sovereign made by an Indian mint in the last couple of years.
Can be get statistics as such again for Coins, Banknotes and Exonumia sections?
I always find such data and statistics fascinating.
1.
What are the top 10 used picture sources?
2.
What are the top 10 used catalogue references?
3.
What are the top 10 Designers/Engravers/Artist used?
4.
What are the top 10 used mints?
5.
What are the top 10 used Tags?
Cheers,
Paul

I know this topic has been inactive for a while, but I think it would be great if all the statistics discussed here had their own section in Numista (Statistics) where we could view all the general website statistics. It could be located next to Outings and FAQ, in the general topics bar.
Issuers with the most associated coins, sources with the most images in the catalog, rulers, object types, mints, printers, etc... in short, many of us would love for Numista to have a permanent section where we could access all this data.
It could be divided into General Data, Users Data (collections introduced, participation in Numista catalog, posts in the Forum, number of swaps, etc...), and Personal Data (in this case, more interesting statistics could be added to the “My Collection” section).
Perhaps one of the objectives for the 2026 Plan? 😊
Many thanks, Oscar
