Discussion: German occupied territories in WWII

Hi guys,

I need your opinion in another topic. Where to put banknotes from German occupied territories in WWII?

Small historical background:
The German government issued money for the occupied territories (e.g. Poland). This is often a way of increasing the amount of money in those regions and the banknotes circulate paralelly to the local ones. They are officially issued by German authorities and one site of the banknote is always in German (often the reverse is in the local language). With this, the German government in wartimes tried to keep the Reichsmark stable.

Now my question: Where to put this? Under Poland? Under Germany? Keep in mind, that this money was issued by German authorities...

My suggestion: Create a new issuer in the Germany section "German occupied territories" for those kind of banknotes...
Here is an example:

^ This is actually an Ostruble from WWI (not WWII).

The corresponding coins are categorized under Germany:

I agree, my example was not the best...

Think about this one:

This never circulated inside todays Germany but has to be categorized there somehow... or banknotes from the protectorate Böhmen und Mähren in WWII... so far I dont see, where to put them?
You put it there where it was circulating or meant to be circulated by the issuer.
Bohemia and Morovia notes are going HERE
German occupation notes, such as for the German Occupation of Ukraine, should be listed under 'German Occupation notes'.
