Sudanese coinage

I recently requested the move of

from the "third pound" of Sudan to the second, with the dates of the second pound changed from "2007-2011" to "2007-" to reflect the fact that there was no currency reform in Sudan in 2011, simply the issue of new banknotes to coincide with the secession of South Sudan. Unfortunately, this edit was refused, with the referee pointing to the Wikipedia article which itself includes a request for expansion owing to a lack of detail on the 2011 events. I've no interest in trying to change the minds of the Wikipedia "editors" on this point but a cursory look at the evidence from the banknotes

makes it clear that there was no currency reform. I requested more information from the referee but have heard nothing back. Given the current situation, one cannot be critical of this but I wondered how best to proceed in correcting this error.
