Bargain

Understandably not much happening on Numista at the moment. My topic is in two parts. I hope you don't mind.

Firstly I don't buy coins very often but I couldn't resist buying this coin this evening.

I paid 10 euros total for it. Did I get a bargain, pay just about right or pay over the odds?

Secondly what is the best bargain you have got on a coin/coins?

My best found was a gold dukat in a box of 'holidaycoins' what costed my 3 euro...

The value in the market depends quite a lot on the condition, so it is hard to say without seeing pictures of the piece, if you have a bargain, or a normal price.

The best bargain I ever got was this 1851 Paris minted Swiss franc. I paid US$25.
I think the condition is at least VF35, which puts the market value around €200 .

The same coin worn flat, condition G5, would be fairly priced at 25.
