Hi

i found swedish 25 öre 1916 without mint mark(w). Any thougs about it?
The mint mark symbol of Stockholm is there below "ORE" although it is worn. The W you refer to is the initial of the Riksbank Governors surname. I suspect that is simply worn off completely.

Thans for the answer and that was what i meant for "w".
I dont believe worn theory becouse there no seems to be any signs or shadows left of it.
hi
The reason is because of the low coin quality.
In many low-quality coins, parts of the coin are destroyed by erosion.
Even if it has errors, it cannot be proved because of the low-quality of the coin.

Thanks for the answer. Its true that coin is worn and then hard to prove error. Maybe the die strike has also been originally weak. I think i will show the coin some local specialist.

You can do that, but don't pay for it, since it's just a worn coin:°
