Hello,
This was implemented. An email notification is now sent when your catalogue or literature requests are processed.

If you don't wish to get the email notifications, you can click “Unsubscribe” at the bottom of the email or got to your account settings and uncheck the notifications “when my catalogue request is processed”.
You can still find your requests by clicking “My catalogue modification requests” on the page “Catalogue”.

I believe this feature will be especially useful for occasional contributors, to be better informed about the outcome of their request.
Contributors making a lot of requests may have different needs. A discussion is ongoing here: https://fr.numista.com/forum/topic140601.html
Would that second sentence not be better, split on two lines -
so the coin title does not get divided
Maybe though keep the box the same size, in case of an annoyingly long title.
You added the option “Send me an email” but maybe could be useful add also the option “Show me a notification”.

Am I misunderstanding the OP's suggestion to improve Numista? I thought it was about notification when their suggestion (e.g. this post) was approved/rejected, not about catalog CR's.
I'd ask the OP but they are no longer a Numista member.
You are right I might have misunderstood. The OP opened another topic (https://en.numista.com/forum/topic93799.html), which explicitly mentions modification of coins and feedback from referee, though it's still ambiguous whether the modification is done via a catalogue request or the forum.
Regarding notifications of the status of requests via the forum, we can still track with this topic: https://en.numista.com/forum/topic157715.html
I still think this request was to get notifications when posts on this forum for bugs/ideas to improve Numista are Implemented or Rejected, not for catalog requests.
For instance if this 4 year old suggestion someone up/down votes or if it is implemented/rejected without a comment I would get a notification: https://en.numista.com/forum/topic112673.html
Otherwise I would have to go searching for all my old posts to see if anything has happened.
That's why we add a message when marking the forum request as implemented.
But let's continue this discussion at https://en.numista.com/forum/topic157715.html
But why not also when ACCEPTED? Case in point https://en.numista.com/forum/topic168919.html
