Hi,
is this Token on Numista Catalog?

Does anyone have some information? I know it is from a restaurant in France, but I do not know why it was issued.

It is even on sale on https://www.numiscorner.com/products/france-token-ecu-de-france-chenevieres-sur-marne-ms60-62-copper-plated

Thank you for helping

At the turn of the XIXth century, there were many advertising tokens for retaurants and bars as this following one.

The name of the restaurant being "ECU de France", they took the design of an "ECU" from Louis XIV.

This token is not yet in the Numista catalog. Its reference is : ELIE PUB.20 (El# PUB.20)
Notgelds were issued only after the WW1.
By the way, "S.O." means "Seine et Oise" that was the name of the former department around the department "Seine". These two department were split in 7 departments later on 1968.

Thank you.

I have added it on Numista catalogue.

I will add more details on this once I will know more.
It is online

I have emailed the resturant which issued the token to ask for further information. If they will reply me I will post the answer here.
