There seems to something amiss with the search function for text. About three days ago I entered about 40 FAO coin into my collection. Today I wanted a list of all FAO coins that I had. I used the advance search, radio button for "in" my collection and FAO in the text field. Search results only found 25 coins. All coins that I entered had FAO in the title.

I know I had more than 25 FAO coins prior to entering the 40 addition coins ....

Do all the FAO coinpages have 'FAO' in the lettering field of obverse or reverse?
Because lettering should only consider those fields not the title.
And like always ... use easy search it's most often easier :°
If easy search find more than advanced search does, then something is wrong with advanced search ..

What I wanted was just a list of my FAO coins. Easy search scans, and returns all FAO coins in the database. It returned 35 pages, 689 coins of which, after going page by page, I have 128 FAO coins. Regardless of where in the text of the page the FAO is, to include the title, the advanced search should find all 128 of my coins if I choose the "in" collection radio button ..

Hello,
Entering "FAO" in the lettering field will find only the coins which have "FAO" inscribed on the coin. If "FAO" is not written on the coin but it is only mentioned in the title of the coin or in a tag, it won't be returned by this search. Only the "easy search" looks for all fields at once.
I suggest either using the "easy search" (and you can still filter for coins "in" your collection by clicking on the "Options" link) or using the advanced search with the "tag" criteria.
Thank you very much for the explanation Xavier, it worked just fine ..
