I found the following coin/token in a large group of mostly tokens acquired several years ago. The diameter is 18 mm and the weight 4.8 gr. It looks similar to some of the Judean coins from Bar Kokhba Revolt but the Hebrew characters look too modern and it is too round and well struck in my opinion. I would appreciate any information anyone could supply. My guess it is a souvenir and was never intended to be a fake of an actual coin. Will
You are right. This coin is some kind of modern replica more than a fake. The original design of this coin is from second revolt and the legend is written with paleo hebrew letters. Your assumption is correct, it could be considered a souvenir.

There are some coins with similar design from first revolt but all ancient Judean coins have the legend written with paleo hebrew script (of course colonial coins are exception).
