Unidentified token

I just started working on 70 pounds of tokens, medals, and just plain oddities that I bought several years ago. Among them I discovered this nickel or copper-nickel diamond-shaped token. The 4 character side lettering looks a little like Hebrew but I doubt that is what the other side is. I have no idea how to discover if it is in Numista's catalog or on the Internet. I did look in tokens under Israel.
