Hello.

I can not stand to see my language badly considered on this site.

For obscure reasons (or consideration), the translation of the name "Brazil" into French remains incorrect.
The correct translation is "Brésil".

Thank you for doing the necessary to correct this error that I already reported...

Sorry, but no.

It's not "done" and still less solved...

If some people are not capable to traduce correctly a name before to change/modify a such important thing like a country name, the best thing to do is... to abstain.

Sorry, but this kind of mistake are not acceptable.

The problem is the same with "Sultanate of Mogadishu"... in French : "Sultanat de Mogadiscio", with "Torzhok, City of" in place of "Torjok, Ville de"; "Prince-Bishopric of Utrecht" in place of "Prince-évêque d'Utrecht"; "Kingdom of Thessalonica" in place of "Royaume de Thessalonique"...

I'm pretty sure that the reverse error would have been solved much more quickly...

I am not attempting to translate without knowledge. Point is that I have to put in the French name when creating new country, so I rather put English one than none. Xavier and Pejounet can translate these when they are able.

I will open the request again and fix those you mentioned.

All the ones mentioned above are fixed. Just need to wait for the server to refresh and display the change.

Thanks. You made these threads as a request for changing ruling authority, while they should have been as a request for country modification. Nevermind, we will fix them anyway.
