I recently purchased a box full of junk coins from an antique dealer. Found this in the mix and really wanted to try to save it. I had to scrape the black stuff off with a toothpick but I am happy with the results so far. There is still a bit of the black crap left so it is still a work in progress but I am happy so far. Looking pretty good now after 8 hours of soaking but the denticles still have a bit of crud in them.
