Ottoman coin 1255

This coin looks like this one :

It’s the same diameter but i am not sure if it’s genuine or fake, the branch seems different.

appears to be from a different die than the one on the Numista page, but that does not mean it must be a forgery. The inscription and tughra are accurate.

The weight will be very useful information. if it is copper-nickle it will weight about 5 grams or less, instead of 6. your coin is quite worn so if it is silver it should weigh a bit less than 6 grams, but not as little as 5.

I’ve searched on ebay, found the same coin. It appears that the 5 kurus 1255 year 6 (1844) have this design.
The numista’s one is year 15.
