I suspect these may be fake, or the wrong year is attributed.
It is said that these are "Pattern" pieces.
I would like to get anyone thoughts on these coins.

It was attributed as: CHINA MANCHURIAN 1935 5 JIAO BRASS

Those patterns exist but I would recon they would be pretty rare and should be out of copper-nickel not brass.

When they were made I can't say but on the coin the year 5 of Kangde is written which equals 1938.
