Eurovision 2012

Sweden won.
Sadly Romania finished only on 12 place.
Our brothers from Moldova finished on 11 place.

No, but I know that Russia finished second.

Yes I saw it, not the whole, but some part of it, Albania finished 5-th, that means next year it will go automatically in the last night, the first 5 will go.

What is about Eurovision that I don't like is the voting system...every country is voting for its neighbor and the immigrants are voting for their native countries...

I think a jury would have been a better choice.

 I watched it, and UK finished one of the lowest. It is good that every country got some points.
I read that Spain was hoping they would not win - the rules state the winning country has to pay to host the next year's contest, and they could not afford that.

Bad idea .
It's good to invest some money just to receive other after that.
That happened to Bucharest, we hosted Europa League Final, it costs some money, but 30000 spanish came to Bucharest and we got our money back, plus some good image.

as far as I know it is already a mixture of national jury vote and telephone poll to soften
"neighbour solidarity impacts". however - people tend to vote in favor for similar culture /
music so it is no wonder that balkan countries / slavic countries vote for each other.
they might not like each other in terms of political & social life but they share a common
sense for music & arts.

  Like I mentioned earlier about Spain, if they won, they would not be able to afford to host EuroVision the next year. I heard on radio tonight that for EuroVision 2013 two countries do not want to compete as they can not afford to host EuroVision 2014. So next year Poland and Portugal will not be participating.
