I have searched RPC and could not find a match.
Many thanks numisquare for making such a Herculean effort! I examined the RIC in my library in hopes that it might be an Imperial coin and also could not find a match. It appears to me that the subject coin does not have the style of or the proper inscriptions of an Imperial coin, but, does have the style of a Provincial coin (not sure about the inscription as I am unable to get it fully).

Have I discovered a heretofore unknown example of an Antoninivs Pivs Provincial Coin?
Your thoughts most welcome.
As you have determined, this is a Roman colonial coin. The reverse legend starts with COL. However, I was not able to find a coin with COL M____. I also checked Sear's volume on Greek Imperial Coins.

The obverse legend is ANTONINVS PIVS AVG. RPC has this legend for the ruler Elagabalus.
see: https://rpc.ashmus.ox.ac.uk/coins/6/6567

You might like to submit this to RPC, as they have not yet published the volume listing the coins of Elagabalus.
see: https://rpc.ashmus.ox.ac.uk/project/directors
I would not have guessed that the coin might be one from the emperor Elagabalvs. But, it appears that Elagabalvs had PIVS as part of the inscription from several cities in the RPC coinage.

I keep going in circles searching the site for submittals by a private party. How does one submit a coin for consideration to the RPC project?
Please advise.

I emailed Howgege with details about the subject coin including images. Trust he may be able to fully attribute the item and publish it in RPC as part of the Elegabalvs coins with ANTONINVS PIVS AVG inscription.

Thanks again numisquare for all your help in this matter.
