My question concerns the illustration in the Numista catalog which shows two defining characteristics regarding this 25 Paisa coin. One is fairly clear in that the KM771 has a small character at the bottom of the reverse while the KM772 has a large different character in this location. However the illustration states that the KM771 has no denticles around the edge where as the KM772 has defined denticles. In my search for a KM771, I have found that most coins with the small character have denticles. My question is are we sure of the characteristic of the KM771 being that it has no denticles? It appears that the Krause catalog illustration of the KM771 does have denticles.
