May be better.

That is better - can make out a few letters now, maybe ...

So that is German lettering, then the 5 is 5 Pfennig denomination.

LODZER TURNVEREIN ?

Building on the helpful comments of ZacUK and Frenchlover, and translating from German, I think Lodzer means from the city of Lodz (Poland), turnverein means an athletic or gymnastic society, and I think the bottom word might be kraft, meaning force. Not sure what putting it all together means - maybe a Lodz 5-pfennig athletic society token. I wasn't able to locate this item on the internet.
This is a Token from the sport/gym club "Kraft" and according to a library index the celebrated the 30th anniversary of the Turnverein "Kraft" in Lodz 07.11.1937. So it should have been est. 1907.

I just found football tables from the club and a Wiki page that mentions it:
http://www.claudionicoletti.eu/soccer-statistics/campionati-nazionali-in-europa/all-final-tables/poland-league-final-tables/pol-1910-20/
https://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Towarzystwo_Mi%C5%82o%C5%9Bnik%C3%B3w_Rozwoju_Fizycznego

But nothing about the Token.
That looks good
