This is the English language part of Numista
Please speak English. I don't understand Spanish or whatever language this is in.
I love coins. Especially silver, gold and anything really old.

No volveré a molestarte.

Thanks - because at the end of the day our Spanish amigo was showing gorgeous Imperial Spanish pieces and I was trying to work out if they were pieces of 8 or more fractional coins.
Love this thread, and I regret I have nothing from the era (16th century) one of my favourite periods with Queen Elizabeth, The Armada, Shakespeare and Marlowe. And of course my own ancestor, Hauiti who started my Maori tribe 15 generations ago which we estimated was around 1550AD.
Keep those Renaissance masterpieces coming!

Quote: "arpad"How far back will this thread go? Will it eventually cover pre-1500 A.D. coins?
The previous thread stalled out at 1496
Sorry I haven't been the best at keeping the title updated recently. If it's been 24 hours since the last date was posted, go ahead and post, and I'll get the title updated when I have the chance. Currently looking for a 1593
Not in the same league as phfoticus's coins but I'am still happy to own it :)
The third last coin from my collection that I will be able to post here: Kingdom of England - 1 Groat 1560-61 - Queen Elizabeth I https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces143549.html
I was hoping that this thread would continue to 1499. I have coins with later
dates, just not worth photographing. I hope everybody had a good Thanksgiving!!
