unauthorized re-strike is an interesting twist on the counterfeit market. it is surely cheating, others artfully imitate the original artist by actually engraving dies, the way fine art painting copyists make very passable paintings.

If they are using authentic dies, and authentic planchets, and all is to standard, how can you or anyone say it is fake? It is an essay, even an essay is not a real coin.
