Welcome to Numista!

I tried, but there are areas of flatness in the legend which makes this very hard.

Possibly someone will recognize the feline-looking creature on the first photo. The legend looks like

C MS • CESTR... (or CESTP...)

If you rotate the first picture with the cross at the top, you see something that looks like a ramping lion.
But the picture is very simple/crude.

Hello,

CMS CESTR = Comes Cestriae = Earl of Chester.
Well done, you both!

The name is EDWAR:

Or may be FITZEDWAR or FITZ EDWAR. And may be the FITZ part is to be taken literally as "son of", i.e. "son of Edward"?

Please give an accurate description of what you mean by "found"

I reckon it may be a modern piece, struck at a museum to demonstrate how coins used to be made.

It was found in the sewers when my partner worked down them 20 years ago.

The diameter is 20mm and the thickness is les than a mm. It weighs less than a gram but can’t get a more accurate reading than that as my weighing scales aren’t that good. [;
