Ancient Roman coin, probably 4th century. The reverse is as far as I can tell VICTORIA AVG. The coin is in my opinion in too bad shape to identify but if you can read the letters on the obverse it might be possible to identify the ruler.
I collect and deal in ancient Roman coin. In case you're looking for affordable ancient coins or need any help with the coins you already have send me a message.
Atleast on wildwinds I didnt find a Constantine II coin like this, I would say this coin is from the Valentinian dynasty where this kind of victory coins are very common. This one looks quite similiar and was minted under the rule of Emperor Valentinian II http://www.wildwinds.com/coins/ric/valentinian_II/_aquileia_RIC_IX_034c.jpg

Yes you are probably right. I went too fast, this reverse doesn't seem to exist for Constantine II and appears a bit later.
Its not impossible but you should remember, not all coins are catalogued in numista. Can you read the legend around the portrait or why do you think it is Valens?
