British Merchant Token? [solved]

This coin weighs 0.9 gram and is about 16mm. It appears to be billon or copper, and appears to have been buried at some time.

I think it is a British merchant's token of about 1670s.

The legend appears to be: ....WALL CAPP MAKER / AT FL_____IDGE

Anyone have information on this? Value?

I think you're right about it being a tradesman token from the time of the Commonwealth of England when there was no low denomination regal coinage around. I have a book for these and will do a search when I am back home tonight.
