Absolute miracle, what are the chances?

I was looking at buying a coin somebody was selling but they didn't know what it was.  I jumped on this site to look it up and the "coin at random" on the side was the exact coin I was looking for.  It was this one

What's the value of this coin? is $NZ 7.50 a good price?  (approximately 4 british pounds or $US 6.00)

That is for KM# 56.2 which I selected as it has the picture, and there is a separate page for 56.1   :)

T.T   What are the chances eh! Hi Neilithic. I see you're a kiwi too. This coin happens to be one I added. I'm being presumptuous here but there might be a possible bidding war going on as I have one on my TM watchlist that I'm planning to bid on, which also happens to be the start price that you stated... aaannd... I happened to have read this post. Cue the twighlight zone , De de de dee  de de de dee...
As a youngster, I like to find NZ pre-decimal and foreign coins that had made It's way into circulated coinage.

The thought of holding a object of the past with it's hidden history really intrigued me as a youngster...and still does.
Coincidence alert!  :wiz:  That kind of thing is turning out to be a little cruel. Who will win the bidding war?

It probably is the same one, there aren't too many of them on TM.  Aww go on, if you added it then you must already have one.

Yes It's the same one. I do have it on my watchlist but only to see what it goes for. I'm not actually bidding on it as I was recently lucky enough to had picked up another.
To answer your initial query, I think $7.50 is a reasonable price as I'm aware that seller was hoping for them to go twice that. Obviouisly, it'll depend on what you like to collect.

Like your quote.

Cheers, Lysdexic1
