​I think the comment was more to say "As their is a value print on it" it was used to pay something.
I really have no clue what it is but as it's lead I doubt it was use as xchange token or similar, I tend to think it was more used as a weight. But I don't know.

Just a question, are they identical size and weight?
Because as yours depict 20 and your new one depict a 40 I guess the 40 should be bigger than the 20, no?

I can not give the weight for the moment.
the dimension is 35mm
so much the 20 and 40 are much the same.
It looks like a replica of the 20 rappen-token of Switserland.
