These tokens are similar to the UK Conder tokens, they were produced by local companies between 1857 and 1881 to address a shortage of official low denomination currency. I've picked up a few little bulk lots of them recently and I have a couple of double-ups.

If anyone is interested in them I'll put up some pictures of my token doubles and the silver coins tonight.
