Quote: "Choucas"Hello, and welcome to Numista!
What is the question (if there is any)?
I guess the question is whether it's a aureus struck in 16-18 BC or 68-69 AD. I'm not aware of any aureus featuring Augustus struck in 68-69 AD so my best guess is it's RIC125 as PetrusAscanus said. If it was struck in 68-69 AD that would be a commemorative issue since Augustus was long dead by that time, I'm not aware of such coins but it is possible.
I collect and deal in ancient Roman coin. In case you're looking for affordable ancient coins or need any help with the coins you already have send me a message.
Yes there are civil war issues , shorter fatter cornucopia, hardly visable rudder , lighter weight , this coin ticks all the boxes just looking for confermation
Seems you already have more knowledge on this coin than we do on Numista, I recommend trying https://www.forumancientcoins.com/ , they're more focused on ancient coins than us.
