Hello,

can someone help me ti ID this Venetian Grosso?

I feel the lettering to be somewhat crude so I believe it could also be one of the immitations from the Balkans where quite crudly they have immitated the design of the Venetian coins.

Metal: Silver
Weight: 1.35
Diameter: 18.2mm

Medieval Serbian denar. I can't help with the exact variety as these are not my primary interest but I do see them every now and then sold at Croatian auction houses. The Numista catalogue is very limited on medieval Serbian coins but you can find similar ones here: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/serbia_kingdom-1.html

EDIT: after a short search my best guess would be Stefan Uroš III Dečanski (1276. - 1331.) however as I said before I'm not an expert on these and can be wrong:

The name of the ruler should be on the obverse, if you can read the letters on it (or at least part of them) it would help in identifying the ruler.
I collect and deal in ancient Roman coin. In case you're looking for affordable ancient coins or need any help with the coins you already have send me a message.
Fantastic, yes must be a Serbian Denar immitating the design of the Venetian Grosso coins.

Im not sure if its the exact same coin, I feel the obverse legend might be quite different.
