Swapping or selling

6 posts
Next month I'll be back on holidays in Estonia, with much lower postage costs compared to Belgium, so I'm prepared to do some smaller swaps that I can send out beginning of July.

Please look at my profile page to see if you have any coins I could use and then open a swap. I'm looking for European coins, still more than 2500 on my wishlist (mainly vatican, san marino, jersey, guernsey, Isle of Man, gibraltar, all kind of commemoratives from UK, Poland and Russia and pre-1930 coins, but could also be from any other European country).

I'd also like to lighten my swaplist and am offering my common coins up for bulk sale. I'm offering several hunderd types for as little as 10c/piece. So if you collect by date/mintmark maybe an opportunity to fill a bunch of holes for 10/1€ or 100/€9 or even 1000 different coins for €80 (no doubles!). Also many other types for just a bit more. Give me a shout if you're interested. I also still have hundreds of eurocoins, not listed here on numista.

No new swaps for the moment, still too many half-ongoing swaps to clean up!

What types do you offer for 10c?

It's mainly European coins, the coins that I have really many of and don't have a valid exchange rate over 15c

here a quick (mostly correct) list for some countries:
Eurocoins: 1c/2c/5c/10c
Spain: most up to 25 ptas as from Franco
Belgium: most up to 20fr as from 1950'ies
NL: up to fl1 as from Juliana
Fr: up to 10fr as from 50'ies
UK: decimal up to 10p, predecimals up to 6d
Germany: 1/2/5/10 pf
Italy: up to 100 lire
Finland: as from sixties coins up to 1 markka (non-silver!) (silver 1 Markka = €1.3 each)
austria: as from '50 up to 1 shilling
USSR: as from sixties all coins up to 1 ruble (non-commemorative)
Estonia up to 1 kroon
czech up to 2 korun
...
Hope you kind of get the picture, whatever you can kind of find in bulk lots, but then selectable by date. Most types you can see in my swaplist with more than 5 coins.

These low prices off course don't apply for slightly special pieces that are easily swapped or just more valuable (commemoratives, NRI>15, silver, types I only have 1 or 2 in swaplist, ...). Also no cherry-picking of keydates for that price, if you take many though it's no problem.

For common coins (that I have many of) with higher facial values, you can also get those for facial value (or slightly rounded up). My €2 commemoratives can go for €2,5.

Postage is up to 1kg: EU €10; world €15
up to 2kg EU €15; world €20
for extra kg in EU +€2/kg, for world to be checked

If there is real interest, I could make a list of exactly what coins go for that price ... or you just start a swap and I'll check on the go.

Hi Bram

Please can you bring back some 2 euro CC coins from Estonia ?
I can get you some UNC banknotes from the Dominican Republic if you wish.
Have a good holiday and see you around Christmas.....

Kind regards
Philip
