Hey does the Italy 500 lira 1996 Km 181 . Have large head and small head.

Do you think this is a variety or an error ? I have two of the Italy 500 lira Km181 Istituto Nazioale di Statistica,
and the heads look like large head and small head.

top of head is close to inner ring and neck not touching the inner ring

small head



top of head is far from inner ring, front of neck touching inner ring
If the center ring is out of center. Why does the back look good ?
what to you think. Please take a look at yours and tell me what you think.

Italian republican lire are literally the worst variety wise, I can think of two dozen as clear if not clearer than that.
Some are collected, but most are common enough that they aren't worth much.
