I have these really cute Mini Inflation coin sets for sale.
Each set includes 6 Mini "Inflation" Coins . These Tiny Shrunken Metal Coin Replicas are in a Packet/Flip Called "The United States of America - Inflation Money Set"
Each set includes 1 of each tiny ~ 10mm replica coin:
- Ike Dollar
- Kennedy Half Dollar
- Washington Quarter
- Roosevelt Dime
- Jefferson Nickel
- Lincoln Penny
These are made of real metal, not plastic. I was told that these got made in the 1970's-1980's to highlight the effects of inflation and how the value of the coins have been reduced. What was explained to me was that the value of a dollar in 1970 was about half of what it was in 1950. And these replica coins where made to kinda show that money value has "Shrunken", which would make sense given the verbiage on the flip card that says "Getting Smaller Smaller Smaller, Worth Less Less Less"
These are very cool set and super cute. They really look like the real thing in mini. They can also be used as Magic Coins for a Shrinking coin magic tricks. I have seen a few YouTube videos of them being used this way. My son has come up with a few magic tricks with them as well. These are a great gift for coin collectors or children.
I have seen these sets sell with different tag lines. Some say "A Little Beer Money", "Obama Change", "Trump Change", "Clinton Change" or "A little allowance". All the messages are the same I guess.
The sets I have up for offer by far has the neatest packaging of any other sets I have seen.
