Hi
Is it technically possible to implement search engine into page "Add a coin to the catalog" or "Add or modify data" page within section "References", where user could search for similar coins, without refreshing page OR with refreshing but retaining already filled out fields. I guess basic alphanumerical input search field is enough, I don't see the need for other advanced search possibilities. Search results should be more compact as regular search results, each search result having its own checkbox. By ticking it into value "true" and adding all ticked checkboxes, links of selected coins would be automatically inserted into "Links" field. Nice to have would be a possibility to pop-up each coin picture from search results, without opening the actual coin page. Nowadays, you need to manually copy links from other open pages.
This proposal is for editing into the page of new coin or existing coin. There is also a question if some kind of "interconnected system" if it could be developed, that would add the link of this new-not-yet-added or existing coin, to the coins from which link is being set up at this coin. Links would therefore be added on both sides at the same time - for such functionality maybe an extra checkbox would be needed (maybe there is no need to always interconnect two coins).
This proposal is new follow-up of my previous idea:
