P.S.: Cass, not for you, you've got more gold than me!
Hello
My name is Oscar and I am 18 years old and live in Denmark. My hobby started with my grandfather giving me a bag of coins when I was around 8-9 years old, and then I just got caught by it.
My name is Bas, im 17 (almost 18 years old) and i live in the Netherlands. My hobby started just over one year ago (april 2018) when i found my dads old coin album in the attic. Shortly after that i got my Grandpa's album and page loaded with silver coins and i was amazed by the coins.
At the moment i mainly focus on Dutch coinage (Dutch Republic all the way up to the current Euro coins). But i also like to collect anything in general! I would really appreciate the boost to my collection, but we will see who wins!
Well, I fit the bare minimum! 21 years old (22 in 2 days lol) and in Portugal!
My hobby started at like 12 by hoarding foreign coins I got from my dad when he traveled and euro coins and cents and stuff because of the different national faces. Then my grandfather saw I picked up the interest and gave me a ton of escudos coins from Portugal and even a few monarchy coins! And now I have picked it up seriously and I am very glad I did!
I'm Simon, I'm 14 (hi hi hi I'm the youngest!)
I live in France, I started working in numismatics after the discovery of two coins....
Now I find myself with almost 1000 pieces in collection and a great joy to help on the forum!
I collect all the modern French (1789 to 2001) but also one coin for each country in the world and issuer, for these two categories it includes the ancient countries, the coins I want for this category are: favorites, preference for the oldest, best possible condition (excluding exonumia and token) as well as American non-federal American states and pre-federal Roman coins that I do not have emperors Tetricus and Tetricus II.
I also collect all the workshops and vintages of German coins.
I have some 2 euros FDC, SPL.
Here, in contact with the members of numista, I am almost an expert of a coin (France) and already a referent of a country (others to come!)
Good luck to all (although I'd like to win!)
Hi, im Marco Ramos and im 22 years old, i live in Porto(Portugal) but im originally from Madeira(Portugal). I collected all the euro coins when i was younger and then forgot about it... Some months ago i started when i re-discovered my grandfather / father old portuguese and foreign coin collection. Now i collect all portuguese coins i can find, USA, United Kingdom, germany and some more european countries too!
Everything i don't have basically.
I focus on Portuguese coins and european coins.
Hi, I'm Guilherme and I'm 19 years old. I'm from Faro(Portugal) but studying at Lisbon. My grandfather used to collect and save every coin he could find and when I was a kid he would ask me to check the dates of every coin because he besides not seeing that well, thought it would be a good way to introduce me to coin collection... and I think it worked. With the passing of my grandfather I've became even more interested in his coin collection and trying to learn even more about this world.
I just turned 14 but I'm not in the EU...
Do I count if I'm coming to Britain for 2-3 weeks this summer?
Please?
No?
Ok. That's fine too. Have fun. Too bad because I like circulation world coins.

I'm 20 from England. I was given a few old British coins when I was 16, and I've kept every coin I've found ever since. I got hooked and took great interest in designs and dates of UK coins. My collections isn't too big or varied and is mostly British circulating coins but I'm getting more and more into world coins and older ones too!
