Looks like a contemporary counterfeit of a post-Reform George III sixpence.

When you say contemporary counterfeit , how recent do you mean? Is it because it is very thin you think it is a counterfeit? It was found in a collection of coins all roughly 100 years old. Thank you

​Oh, by contemporary I mean from the time the real coin circulated. My guess is that it was made back in the early-mid 19th century, and that it was once plated or dipped to resemble a real silver coin.
